Trends:
Resortwear that is rebelling against anything understated is a big deal right now, and it is influenced by Love Island and White Lotus luxury looks. ( this is an example of another trend, crochet in swimwear, which I absolutely hate!! Why would anyone want to swim and sunbathe in crochet wool?). This is the link for the white one

String bikinis have been around for a while but are still relevant this season. String bottoms are so good for wearing high on the high to help elongate the leg. I think its much more flattering for most shapes that the thicker style bottoms
Triangle tops are actually great on many shapes, although curvier girls may shy away from them. Probably not good for you if very full in the bust. This is a nice example

Sporty looks are one of the strongest trends, incorporating contrast piping. Like this one

Hardware: chain straps, stud trims, silver rings all add attitude, a bit of edginess to an otherwise simple suit. Like this one

One shoulder has been a trend since last year and works well for bustier girls. Mint velvet do this one

Colours: Polka dots and brown tones. Also lots of “vacay” type prints like lemons. An example here

Most body shapes should emphasise their narrowest part of their waist
Swimsuits that have gathering in around the tummy, or a belt-effect will do this. Like this one from Marks and Spencer

My preference is ALWAYS a high leg bikini or swimsuit. It lengthens the leg and has a slimming effect
For ladies fuller in the bust and underwired structured bra top will obviously give the required support. Bandeau is a good option and you ca usually remove the straps for sunbathing, like this one

If you are a rectangle shape with little or no curve one of the “shorty” style bikinis will look cute. As I think they add the illusion of curve.

Cut out swimsuits are definitely a trend that I have tried and never again:
Not sure what body shape looks good in these. But Miu Miu have influenced it on the hight street
